On February 20, 1940 she married Richard Arthur Freeman in Independence, Jackson County, Missouri.

Ardyce and Richard had three children. They are:

Patricia Louise Freeman --Born September 17, 1941 in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri
Richard Arthur Freeman II --Born January 22, 1945 in Independence, Jackson County, Missouri
Douglas Allen Freeman --Born May 14, 1951 in Independence, Jackson County, Missouri

Richard Freeman passed suddenly from a heart attack on January 25, 1961. Ardyce Freeman passed on October 3, 2004 and was laid to rest next to her husband in the Buckner Hill Cemetery, Jackson County, Missouri.
